Deicing Valves

NMG is a key supplier of deicing system components to aerospace industry leaders, offering the flexibility of a smaller contractor with the robust capabilities of a large manufacturer.

Precision DeIcing Expertise

Preventing excess ice formation in cold climates and high altitudes is vital to ensuring safe flight. NMG manufactures a full range of deicing valves and system components designed to consistently and reliably work together. We also conduct on-site testing to ensure quality and performance. Our expertise includes pressure regulation valves, distribution valves, relief valves, and isolation valves for deicing systems destined for rugged military aircraft, large commercial fleets, small private planes, and everything in between.

Types of Deicing Valves

Pressure Regulation Valves

Pressure regulation valves are designed to sustain and maintain appropriate pressure levels throughout the aircraft deicing system.

Distribution Valves

Complex deicing systems rely on a series of distribution valves to direct air or fluid, depending on the type of system, to control and prevent ice buildup.

Relief Valves

The purpose of a relief valve is to prevent damage o the deicing system by releasing excess pneumatic pressure.

Isolation Valves

The flow of deicing fluid, heated air, and pressurized air through a deicing system is closely controlled by isolation valves, which may be used to prevent flow into a particular segment of the system.

The NMG Quality Difference

NMG understands the precision manufacturing techniques required to make sophisticated valves that allow for highly controlled movement of fluid through an aircraft deicing system. Every production run at our state-of-the-art facilities is subject to multiple, strategic quality checks to ensure that we get it right the first time and deliver exceptional products that meet our customers’ exacting standards.
