Each member of our team brings a wealth of innovation, insight, and expertise to the table, enabling us to provide cutting-edge aerospace solutions that empower our clients to advance aerospace technology.
Michael Piglia
Chairman of the Board
Mike Piglia has more than 30 years of increasing responsibilities with NMG Aerospace. He has been Board Chairman since April 2018, a position he attained as the result of a carefully planned succession process from his father: Pete Piglia, the previous Board Chairman and the enterprise’s founder. Mike has overseen the formation of committees to aid the board in its governance of NMG and leads the board from a foundation of respect for our company’s most important asset: Our People.
Darryl Piglia
Chief Executive Officer
Darryl Piglia’s father, Pete Piglia, founder of our 100% privately owned company, prepared Darryl for second generation succession by ensuring he held a variety of positions within the company from hands on roles in production and assembly through supervision and management of human resources and sales. As CEO, Darryl closely monitors NMG’s key strategies of sustaining Smart Growth, ensuring Operational Excellence, and establishing our company as an Employer of Choice.
David Kunce
Chief Financial Officer
Dave Kunce joined NMG Aerospace as Chief Financial Officer in September 2018. In this role, Dave has direct oversight of the Finance and Information Systems functions where he works closely with his team to monitor the performance of NMG and drive continuous improvement and efficiency. Dave is integral in successfully executing NMG’s strategies, which include the goals of achieving and maintaining smart growth, operational excellence and being the employer of choice to our current and future associates.
David Vargo
Chief Operating Officer
In his 35 years in manufacturing with NMG, Dave Vargo has honed his leadership skills in quality assurance, production planning & support, operations management, business development, business unit leadership and corporate level program management. In April 2018, Dave became our Chief Operations Officer, providing tactical and strategic focus to leading the execution of NMG’s key strategies in operations excellence, smart growth, and employer of choice initiatives.
Jeremy Earley
Vice President of Engineering & Business Development
Jeremy joined the NMG team in 2014 and advanced to his current leadership role in 2021, where he contributes to NMG in business development, operations, and design engineering capacities. Jeremy currently leads our Business Development and Design Engineering organization. He has been an active participant in the “Smart Growth” plans for NMG and is an advocate for aligning our annual policy deployment activity to the strategic initiatives set forth by our company.
Tracy Konjovic
Vice President of Organizational Development
Since 2003, Tracy has been a member of NMG’s management team where she currently holds the position of Vice President of Organizational Development. In her role, she works closely with NMG leadership and ownership to ensure business continuity through talent acquisition, development, retention, and succession planning. She is actively engaged with team members at all levels of the organization in supporting strategic growth goals and in monitoring NMG’s commitment to being an “Employer of Choice” in our industry.
Joseph Pentasuglio
Vice President of Assembly Operations & Strategy
As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, Joe is engaged in the development, facilitation and execution of NMG’s key strategies to strengthen operational performance, workforce effectiveness, operations management and business growth. Joe participates in product strategy development, corporate objective planning, product line transition, business acquisition, business startups, fiscal planning, employee mentorship as well as broad general management of manufacturing operations.
Dale Youngs
Vice President of Technical Services
Since joining the NMG team in 1991, Dale has held a number of leadership roles and currently serves as Vice President of Technical Services. Dale is responsible for the tools and processes used in the technical community, as well as the US export law compliance. He has a passion for effective project management and exploring emerging technologies. Dale also provides valuable mentorship to others serving in technical roles within our company.
Scott Crawford
Vice President of Program Mgt. & Supply Chain Management
Scott is an aviation enthusiast with 20 years of Aerospace experience in a wide range of roles of increasing responsibilities. Scott’s career at NMG Aerospace started in May 2018 as Director of Quality and has since moved into leading the Program Management team, our Matco Aircraft Landing Systems business, and the Supply Chain Management function. Each of Scott’s responsibilities leverages his experience and enhances the synergies within the Programs and Supply Chain teams.
Jonathan Kobb
Vice President of Quality
Jonathan joined NMG Aerospace in 2020 as the Director of Quality and Continuous Improvement for our Ohio machining divisions. His role later expanded to include quality functions for Ohio assembly operations. Promoted to Vice President of Quality in 2022, Jon added the Arizona quality operations as well as Supplier Quality Assurance program to his leadership responsibilities. In addition to Quality, Jonathan also has leadership oversight of the Environmental, Health & Safety team.
