Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Stow, Ohio and Tempe, Arizona are ISO 9001 and AS 9100 accredited, and we are NADCAP approved for several specialized aerospace manufacturing techniques. Our extensive aerospace manufacturing capabilities include:

  • Assembly and Test
    • NMG supports the manufacturing process well beyond the completion of a single component. We offer full assembly services and can conduct a battery of assessments, including electro-mechanical tests, to verify quality. If something doesn’t perform as expected, we can help you investigate the root cause and develop a solution.
  • Finishing
    • Companies may choose to finish their manufactured products to extend product lifespan, protect against corrosion and wear, achieve a desired appearance, and more. NMG is proud to offer a variety of on-site finishing services, from surface preparation to material application.
  • NADCAP Anodizing
    • Anodizing can protect products made from metals and other substrates from corrosion, scratches, and other wear and tear. NMG offers NADCAP anodizing services for customers who wish to achieve a certain appearance or level of durability.
  • NADCAP Brazing
    • NMG uses NADCAP techniques to ensure high-quality brazed joints for aerospace applications. Brazing is a precision technique that uses a filler alloy with a relatively low melting point to join two components together. The filler alloy is melted with either a gas torch or an induction coil.
  • NADCAP Painting
    • Painting aerospace components is not as simple as painting a wall or even another type of industrial part. NADCAP specifies a defined series of steps to ensure a durable finish that can withstand the rigors of the aerospace service environment. NMG has significant experience with NADCAP painting techniques and offers on-site painting services.
  • NADCAP Pickle/Passivate
    • NMG offers a wide range of NADCAP pickling and passivation services for aerospace parts and components. Pickling and passivation are specialty finishing processes that remove impurities, contaminants, and residue from surfaces and improve corrosion resistance of the final product.
  • NADCAP Shot Peen
    • The shot peen process applies uniform, compressive stress to the surface of a component to mitigate cracking, erosion, and other wear and tear. Shot peening may also be conducted before plating to ensure better smoother adhesion. NMG specializes in NADCAP shot peen methods for aerospace components of all sizes.
  • NADCAP Welding
    • NMG leads the industry in NADCAP welding for the aerospace industry. From pressurized vessels, tubes, and tanks to custom welded components, our experts have over 25 years of experience with aerospace welding. We offer highly customized fixture design to ensure tight tolerances, control shrinkage, and minimize warping.
  • Precision Machining
    • Many critical aerospace components and assemblies require incredible precision to ensure optimal performance and function. NMG is equipped for a wide range of precision machining and manufacturing techniques, with over 40 state-of-the-art mills, latches, and other machines.
  • Product Design, Development, and Validation
    • NMG provides comprehensive support well before the manufacturing process begins. Sourcing in-demand materials can be challenging, and some parts must be shipped to multiple locations for specialty finishing.   • Tube Bending
    • In many aerospace applications, space is limited, and aerospace tubing often must be bent to fit—without sacrificing flow or function. NMG offers precision tube bending for aerospace tubing. We can help you calculate and execute the exact offset needed for your specific application.
